Welcome to the 2008 Slammers Futbol Classic

Slammers Futbol Club is pleased to host their 9th annual Classic. We welcome all newcomers and appreciate the teams and clubs that have supported us year after year. As always, we will strive to provide the very best competition, which will include many past and current National, Regional and State Cup Champions and Finalists.

We will again feature a college showcase format for our GU16-GU19 portion of the tournament with many local & out-of-state coaches committed to attending.  As part of the program your players will also receive a free profile page for the coaches to view.  Please revisit our site for updates on coaches who will be attending.

Our two-day tournament will be held on Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20.

The College showcase will be primarily at UC Irvine, with younger boys and girls teams playing in Newport Beach, Costa Mesa and fields in surrounding Orange County cities.

Each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games.

Remember that our tournament is the first tournament of the year to play the

2008-09 AGE GROUPS.  That means 2007 U10 teams play U11 in our tournament.

In an effort to provide you and your team with a premier event, the registration process is an on-line service with a secure on-line payment option. The result will be expedited communication and information throughout the event via e-mail and on the tournament website.

We are excited about our sixth year in partnership with the sports giant, Nike. We look forward to their continued support of our tournament as well as our club. We also want to express our thanks to Gatorade and the Los Angeles Galaxy for their continuing support.
